Profits means the amount received after all costs are deducted from the sale. Each shirt can yield up to $7.35 to charity (minimum with short run: $4). On a short run the costs per shirt are much higher than a large run. The more shirts ordered, more of that shirt's cost is profit and goes to charity. And there's no maximum cap!
