Posted by bethany newman on October 14, 2011 0 Comments

Thank you all so very much for your support! Tshirts can help, and with your help My Shirt Helps has been able to give $ 19,798.43 from last November to August of this year.

American Red Cross, Convoy of Hope, Heart to Heart International, International Med Corps, Minot Area Community Foundation, Samaritan’s Purse and Save the Children Federation, Inc. have used these funds to aid relief from the tsunami and earthquake in Japan, tornadoes in southern Dixie states, tornadoes in Joplin MO, flooding in Memphis TN, and flooding in Minot ND. Besides raising funds, you also raise awareness by wearing your My Shirt Helps tshirt.

So keep spreading the word, it's that simple. We're currently raising funds for the Texas wildfires, East Coast flooding and the cure for Breast Cancer. Thanks for your help!

Japan Quake & Tsunami Relief

Posted by bethany newman on March 14, 2011 0 Comments

Waking on Friday morning and seeing the news, I instantly felt sick. It took me a few minutes to get in touch with family and make sure they were safe. This cause is so close to my heart because my brother and sister-in-law live in Nagoya, and her family lives in Ibaraki which sustained a lot of damage and fires. Our hearts and prayers go out to all the families affected by this tragedy. We are doing our best to help in anyway possible. We're designers. So what do we do? Design a tshirt, hope it raises funds for relief and hope people wear them around to encourage others to give towards relief.

The videos and images we've been seeing in the media are overwhelming. This tragedy will affect their country, their economy and the global economy for a long time. Let's come together, internationally, and help out.

We start printing ath the end of the week. The raised funds will be going to : the International Medical Corps, Save the Children, and Samaritan's Purse

Thank You!

We just want to thank everyone for visiting. This is a venture founded by the designers who brought you Nashville flood tees, a fundraiser that raised over $200,000 for the flood victims in the middle TN area.  During the 3 months the store was active we saw a tremendous outpouring of generosity towards the Middle TN area.  However, we had to pull the plug for a few reasons.

Firstly, to get all the money released all orders had to be closed, disputes rectified and everybody had to be happy according to our payment gateway.

Secondly, Nashville flood tees was started by a group of very small business owners and was supposed to be a weekend volunteer adventure. Well almost immediately it turned into a full-time job for all involved, even while we hired a fulfillment company, employed multiple people to answer phone calls and emails. it consumed our lives. While we were exuberant with all the money being raised for the victims, unfortunately it was quickly taking all time away from our day to day businesses. Since none of us wanted to take any money from the flood-tees, we reluctantly decided to shut the store down so we could focus on our own businesses.

We sincerely apologize to all the people who were not able to purchase a flood tee online.

We are currently selling the remaining shirts at Gin-O Boutique (118 4th Avenue South, Franklin, TN ), for $15 cash, open Mon - Sat 10-6, Sun 12-3.

PLEASE NOTE: THEY ( Gin-O Boutique ) ARE MAKING NO MONEY FOR THIS. They have provided their store as a location for walkup customers.  Spend some time looking ( and purchasing ) other items in their store while you visit.
